Júlia "Mayumi" Nakamura became an overnight celebrity after playing for INTZ  during Superliga ABCDE in Brazil. The support player caught the attention of the Chinese LoL Esports community, with a gameplay video gone viral on Weibo.

In less than a month following Mayumi’s debut with INTZ, her Weibo account has surpassed the one million follower count, after reaching over 160K followers in less than 10 hours after creating her account on the Chinese social platform.

Mayumi is the third woman to enter a professional League of Legends stage in Brazil, being the youngest so far, at age 17. INTZ has bet on a gender “mixed” team, named Project Summoners (Projeto Invocadoras), hiring mid laner Tainá "Yatsu" Santos and support player Júlia "Mayumi" Nakamura, after partnering with Projeto Sakura, joining efforts to insert more women to the LoL Esports scene.

Riot Games official tournaments have not had the presence of women in any team rosters in the past, however, Mayumi has been enrolled to play on CBLoL in the upcoming year. It is not known yet whether she will be the first woman to enter the stage, but it is likely.
