LINE Games (CEO Bae Young-jin) announced on the 21st that its self-developed new PC title, 'QUIET,' will soon hold a playtest on Steam and is now accepting applications from prospective participants.

The Steam playtest for 'QUIET' begins on August 3. Users interested in participating can apply starting today by visiting the 'QUIET' Steam store page and clicking the 'Request Access' button.

This test will mark the first public reveal of the first stage of 'QUIET.' Additionally, a 'Co-op Mode' will be available, allowing players to team up and experience the unique fun of cooperative play as they rely on each other to overcome crises.

'QUIET' is a self-developed PC title from LINE Games. It is a co-op comedy horror game where players take on the role of alien ducks that have crash-landed on Earth, attempting to escape while avoiding the watchful eye of their boss, a grandmother. The game supports both single-player and co-op play for up to four players.

Since its initial reveal in April, the game has generated significant buzz for its unique and bizarre atmosphere, created by the contrast between the cute alien ducks and the terrifying boss grandmother. Anticipation has continued to grow following the first public demo at 'PlayX4 2026' this past May.

LINE Games plans to focus on refining the game's quality based on user feedback from this Steam playtest, with the goal of a global official release later this year following further development.

A LINE Games representative stated, "Through this Steam playtest, we will unveil a new version that includes improvements made since PlayX4, as well as the addition of Stage 1 and co-op gameplay elements. We ask for your continued interest in 'QUIET' and encourage you to sign up for the test."
