On the 21st, Kakao Games (co-CEOs Kim Tae-hwan, Lee Si-woo) announced an update to the popular game 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby,' developed by Cygames (CEO Koichi Watanabe), featuring new Playable Uma Musume in ball-themed outfits.

This update introduces new Playable Uma Musume featured in the story event 'Phantasmagoria ~Phantom Step~': '[Tap! Tap! Tap!] Tap Dance City' and '[With a Twist] Tanino Gimlet.' Both characters appear in special, glamorous ball-themed racewear, showcasing an elegant charm.
Additionally, new SSR support cards—'[Ballroom Tempest] Vodka' and '[Enticed by an Enchanting Dream] Dream Journey'—have been added to provide players with diverse training strategies.
The new story event, 'Phantasmagoria ~Fantasy Step~,' runs until July 30 and follows the story of 'Tap Dance City' and 'Tanino Gimlet' as they aim for the 'best date' at the 'Reneu-Droit' ball. Players can earn event points and roulette coins through training, which can be used to obtain various rewards, including the limited SSR support card '[Operation: Escort] Symboli Kris S'.
Furthermore, a limited-time 'Masters Challenge' event will be held until October 16. The 'Masters Challenge' is a mode where players race against powerful Uma Musume; players can take on various races to win and earn rewards for their first-place finishes.
Meanwhile, Kakao Games has released a KakaoTalk emoticon set titled 'Exciting Days at Tracen Academy!' Featuring 24 designs, these emoticons capture the adorable and lively personalities of the Uma Musume, reimagined in the art style of artist Diyab.
