KRAFTON (CEO Kim Chang-han) and its creative studio 5minlab (CEO Park Moon-hyung) have successfully concluded the first global closed beta test (CBT) for the life simulator game 'Dinkum Together.' The CBT confirmed high levels of user interest and engagement, along with a wealth of feedback, which the team plans to use to continuously enhance the game's quality.
The CBT was conducted for users in South Korea and the United States. Interest was high from the recruitment phase, and the test period was extended once due to persistent requests from users who wanted to continue playing.
Although the test was conducted using an early-stage build that excluded multiplayer and social features, users responded positively to the game's core mechanics. Players showed high engagement with life simulation content such as exploration, town growth, crafting, and construction, with many expressing a desire to continue playing after the official launch.
A variety of user feedback was collected after the test. Early feedback focused on content composition and volume, while as gameplay progressed, more specific suggestions regarding game balance, UI/UX, and accessibility were provided. Notably, even without a specific survey prompt, many users shared their anticipation for future multiplayer and social features.
5minlab plans to use the feedback gathered during this CBT to continuously improve the game. The team intends to actively incorporate user suggestions to refine the gameplay and ensure a stable service environment in preparation for the official release.
Park Moon-hyung, CEO of 5minlab, stated, "Through this CBT, we were able to confirm the interest and diverse opinions of our users. We will do our best to actively reflect this valuable feedback in our development process to deliver a more polished version of 'Dinkum Together.'"
