Odencat, the developer behind 'Bear's Restaurant' and 'Meg's Monster', announced today (the 25th) the release of its horror adventure game 'Ratty Busters!' on Nintendo Switch and Xbox.

Originally released for mobile in 2021, 'Ratty Busters!' is an adventure game that follows a protagonist who wakes up as a rat the day after moving into a new apartment and must struggle to become human again. Thanks to Odencat's signature immersive, humorous storytelling and refined gameplay, the mobile version reached the Top 3 at the Google Play Indie Games Festival in Japan.

Following its Steam release on June 11, 'Ratty Busters!' is now available on Nintendo Switch and Xbox. In the game, players take on the role of a rat and learn techniques from a mysterious, Kansai-dialect-speaking rodent known as 'Master.' Upon learning that they can become human again by exorcising the evil spirits haunting the apartment, the player sets out to explore the building and drive the spirits away.

Players explore the rooms of quirky residents from a rat's perspective, using various gadgets and mini-games to corner the spirits. Exorcisms involve the 'EEB (Exciting Exorcism Battle),' where players wield a spirit-clearing gun borrowed from Master to counter attacks and target the spirits' weaknesses. The game is packed with diverse mini-games, parodies, and witty banter with the Kansai-speaking Master. The Steam and console versions also feature selectable difficulty levels for the shooting-based combat. Furthermore, the developer actively encourages streaming and provides various resources for creators upon request.
