Seven Knights Idle Adventure has marked its 2.5th anniversary with a major in-game update, adding a new Legendary hero and a slate of limited-time events. According to a release, the update went live on March 19th.

According to the release, the headline addition is On Stage Dellons, a band-themed alternate version of one of the franchise’s best-known characters. Netmarble said the new hero can Awaken into Frontman Dellons, a Legendary+ tier form.

The anniversary update also introduced several limited-time events running until April 2nd. These included a 14-day check-in event offering Elke’s Wish Hero Selection Tickets and summon tickets, a Lucky Seven Festa event with rewards of up to 7,777,700 Rubies, and a special Challenger Pass featuring items tied to the new hero. According to the official forum, players could also take part in a themed Footsteps of Elke’s Adventure Party Challenger Pass, a special dungeon event and a carnival event that rewarded exchange currency and other in-game items.

In addition, Netmarble said its 2.5th Anniversary Festival Coupon Event would run through April 16th. Players who redeemed the coupon would receive a ‘Goddess’ Gift’, which the company said would allow them to select some of the game’s strongest heroes. Further event details were published on the game’s official forum.

The update continues Netmarble’s support for the idle RPG, which launched globally on September 6th, 2023, as a successor to the original Seven Knights. At launch, the company positioned the title as a lower-spec, more accessible spin on the franchise, designed for shorter play sessions while expanding on the original game’s story and characters.

Netmarble, the South Korean game publisher behind titles such as Solo Leveling:ARISE and The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, has continued to update the game with new heroes and seasonal events since release. The 2.5th anniversary patch appears to follow that approach, using a marquee character release and time-limited rewards to drive player activity around the milestone.
