Netmarble is set to showcase two of its most anticipated titles at Tokyo Game Show 2025, announcing new collaborations with Google, Samsung Electronics, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Thirdwave.
The South Korean publisher will host its first independent booth at the event, offering 52 demo stations where visitors can play The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and Mongil: Star Dive. The show runs from Sept. 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
At Sony Interactive Entertainment’s booth, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will be available on PlayStation 5, marking Netmarble’s debut in launching a title simultaneously across console, PC, and mobile platforms. Visitors can also experience both games at Google Play’s Diamond Ship area on PC via Google Play Games. Thirdwave will feature The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin on its GALLERIA PC lineup, while Netmarble’s booth will provide additional demo access to both titles.
Immersive 3D Gameplay With Samsung
In partnership with Samsung, Netmarble will offer a glasses-free 3D version of Mongil: Star Dive on the Odyssey 3D (G90XF). The display utilizes eye-tracking and view-mapping technology to create a more immersive experience, with game elements such as characters and environments adapted for the monitor.
“We’re bringing a wide selection of must-see gameplay experiences to TGS 2025 through collaborations with our valued global partners,” a Netmarble spokesperson said in a statement. “Beyond the opportunity to play our games first-hand, we’re creating a lively atmosphere with various on-site events designed to engage and entertain.”
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is an open-world action RPG inspired by the hit manga and anime series. Players can freely explore Britannia, engage in tag-team battles, and combine hero abilities in real time. The game also supports cooperative party play. Mongil: Star Dive, a sequel to 2013’s Monster Taming, uses Unreal Engine 5 to deliver fast-paced combat with three-player tag-based parties and a revamped monster-collecting system.
