Nexon (co-CEOs Kang Dae-hyun and Kim Jung-wook) announced on the 23rd that it has added two new classes, 'Wind Archer' and 'Night Walker,' to 'MapleStory: Idle RPG,' a mobile idle RPG co-developed with Able Games (CEO Kim Dong-woo).

This update marks the first appearance of the Cygnus Knights class group in 'MapleStory: Idle RPG.' The 'Wind Archer' is an Archer class that harnesses the power of the spirit Storm to manipulate wind energy, while the 'Night Walker' is a Rogue class that inherits the power of the spirit Darkness to utilize shadow and dark forces.

To celebrate, a 'New Character Growth Event' pass will run until September 23, providing various growth-support items for newly created characters. Rewards are distributed upon reaching specific level milestones, divided into two segments: level 30 to 70 and level 70 to 100. Rewards include various growth resources, such as the 'Growth Potion,' which instantly increases a character's level by one when used at specific levels.

Additionally, the 'Daily Burning Field Booster Event' will run until August 12, providing a set amount of 'Burning Field Boosters' daily based on the character's level. 'Burning Field Boosters' function like existing booster items; once activated, they summon exclusive monsters across the screen for a set duration, allowing players to earn large amounts of EXP upon defeating them.

Starting August 1, a 'Monthly Attendance Event' will also be permanently implemented. Players can mark their attendance for the day by completing all daily missions. Rewards are available for up to 28 days of attendance each month, including various growth resources such as 'Companion Summon Cards,' 'Miracle Cubes,' and 'Burning Field Boosters.' On the 28th day, players can earn an additional Legendary-grade Relic item.

Furthermore, a new Chaos difficulty level has been added to the existing 'Horntail' Boss Raid. Successful completion rewards players with various growth resources, including the new 'Chaos Horntail Necklace' equipment.
