On Wednesday, July 22, a massive amount of Collection items were added to Sol: Enchantment. In addition to Equipment collections, the expansion of Seal collections—which can be completed purely through hunting—has made it easier for users to 'spec up.' Furthermore, the revamped research system now allows the use of Nine from the early stages, rather than just Research Stones, earning positive feedback for significantly lowering the barrier to entry for character growth.
Despite the positive atmosphere, there was some disappointing news. A new package deal sparked significant controversy among users, and the long-awaited Healer class has been postponed to the end of August to allow for further polish. We have compiled the major issues and news from this eventful and bittersweet week.
From Bracelets to Seals and Tokens! A Massive Addition of New Collections
A variety of new collections have been added, including the Kal's Survival Seal and the El's Attack/Defense Bracelet. The items included in these collections range from Unique grade equipment to Guild Raid 'Tokens of Subjugation' and various Seals that previously had limited utility. Notably, the 'Kaltheon Hunter's Token,' obtained in specific hunting grounds, does not share achievement counts across characters; by utilizing sub-characters or party hunting, players can significantly reduce the time required to complete these collections.
In terms of efficiency, prioritizing the 'Undead Damage' collection from Undead Forest and Undead Ruins, as well as the 'PvE Hit +1' collection from Cultist Den and Cultist Gathering Place, is recommended. These hunting grounds are efficient as they allow for both squad leveling and Nine farming, and the gained Hit stat provides flexibility in other equipment settings. Conversely, the Legend grade Tower of God Token requires a very high number of kills, so it is best to approach it as a long-term goal aligned with weekly entry times.
The God's Accessory and Seal collections are also worth noting. The El's Attack Bracelet, obtainable via Nine, provides PvE Damage, while the Kal's Survival Seal offers HP Potion Recovery Amount, both of which are useful for increasing stats. While most Unique equipment collections require enhancement and thus have lower priority, collections using key accessories and seals can be highly efficient if progressed gradually according to your available resources.

Rare Before Unique! Research System Revamp
The research system has been revamped to improve accessibility and enhance rewards. Six new Rare grade item research options have been added, and the rewards for Unique and Epic grade research have been increased. For Unique grade research, the weapon damage increase per level has been doubled, and for Epic grade research, damage options by type have been consolidated into a single 'Total Damage' stat, increasing versatility. Additionally, the currency required for Rare grade levels 1-2 research has been changed from Research Stones to Nine, strengthening its role as a primary resource sink.
As Nine is now consumed for all Rare grade and early-stage Unique grade research, an analysis of expected value for efficient spec-ups has drawn attention. Based on probability calculations, fully researching Rare grade to level 5 costs approximately 17.18 million Nine, while reaching Unique grade level 2 costs about 17.78 million Nine, making the cumulative resource consumption for both tasks quite similar.
However, there is a clear difference in the stat increase relative to the resources consumed. For a similar investment, Rare level 5 only grants +2 Weapon Damage, whereas Unique level 2 guarantees +4 Weapon Damage. Therefore, for users who need to manage limited resources efficiently, prioritizing Unique level 2 research over maxing out Rare research appears more advantageous for damage growth.

New Content Launch! Guild Raid
New Guild Raid content has been introduced. Participation is possible via Guild Raid Summoning Stones, which have a low drop rate from 'Guild Supply Chests' purchasable through the Guild Merchant NPC. The two types of Guild Raid Summoning Stones added are Eirínn and the Black Sun Razael, each obtainable at a 1% rate from the supply chests.
Guild Supply Chests can be purchased by characters level 45 or higher in a guild level 8 or higher. Upon defeating a Guild Boss, all participants receive a 'Token of Subjugation' in addition to standard boss rewards. These tokens can be used to craft 'God's Protection'—which grants Physical Defense +3 and Damage Reduction +3 for 10 minutes—or for collection purposes.

New Event! God's Testing Ground
The new event dungeon, 'God's Testing Ground,' is open for one week. Available for 5 minutes daily to characters level 45 and above, the dungeon restricts squad and offline play. Players can transform into the Legend 'God Armor Lutein' using a special skill that costs 1k Nine. Through dungeon play and linked event quests, players can obtain God Armor Seals, materials for crafting new God's Soldiers, Enchant Scrolls, and blueprints.
According to player feedback, the boss monster 'God's Knight Captain' reappears multiple times in the center of the dungeon during the short time limit. However, as the boss has high HP and takes significant time to defeat, players suggest that farming regular mobs is more efficient for collecting Seals than spending time on a boss with low drop rates. Additionally, since the quantity of Seals and crafting materials obtained from a single run is somewhat low, long-term farming will likely be necessary to complete and collect the new God Armor within the 5-minute limit.

Crafting Legend Items! Lutein's Spec-Up Spellbook
Following the July 22 maintenance, the new 'Lutein's Lucky Package' was added to the shop. The core component, 'Lutein's Spec-Up Spellbook,' goes beyond providing simple buffs; it is used to craft Legend grade accessories and armor, as well as Epic grade weapons, armor, accessories, and key Epic Skillbooks. Temporary elixirs useful for stat increases can also be crafted.
Since the package's release, various opinions have emerged among Inheritors. Comparisons with the 'Trait Package' released last week have led to concerns regarding cost-effectiveness. There are also worries about the supply of top-tier equipment. Some users are reportedly only interested in the elixirs.

Tower of God 3rd Floor on July 29? Healer in August?
On Wednesday, July 22, a developer note detailing future update plans was released. First, the addition of the Healer class, originally scheduled for late July, has been postponed to late August. The development team explained that while the basic framework and composition are complete, they decided to adjust the schedule to prioritize balancing existing classes before the release.
Instead, they shared news of new content to soften the blow. The Tower of God 3rd Floor, originally intended to be released alongside world content, will be added as the server's top-tier hunting ground in next week's update. They also stated they would continue to introduce high-reward hunting grounds while addressing user inconveniences and complaints.

Still Not Enough! Further Improvements to Auto Hunt
The patch on the 15th introduced new 10m and 20m minimum distance options for Auto Hunt settings. Previously, even with a 30m setting, characters frequently wandered far from the hunting zone, leading to persistent requests for a smaller range. User reactions to the change have been mixed; while some praised the reduced wandering and easier management, others pointed out side effects such as tangled movement paths or AI malfunctions when the range is set too narrow.
To resolve these issues, the developer note announced a comprehensive review and further improvements to the Auto Hunt system, targeting a mid-August implementation. Future updates will clearly display the range based on the Auto Hunt starting point, and the Auto Hunt range and Manner Mode settings, which were previously shared across the account, will be separated by character to allow for detailed settings tailored to each character's characteristics.

Stop the PK! Additional 'Chaos' Nerfs Planned
With the revamp of the alignment system, the attack power buff—the core of so-called 'Chaos farming'—was completely removed. Now, being in a 'Chaos' state only brings penalties, such as a defense reduction debuff, risk of item loss upon death, and the danger of Nine looting. While it was hoped this would reduce PK, user complaints persist due to players continuing indiscriminate PK despite the penalties.
To address the issue of indiscriminate PK and user dissatisfaction, the developer note announced further changes to strengthen penalties based on the level of 'Destructive' alignment. First, a system will be introduced where NPC shop prices increase based on the alignment level. Additionally, the personal alert system will be improved to allow settings that prioritize scanning 'Destructive' alignment characters as targets, aiming to suppress indiscriminate PK and strengthen user protection.

Power Realignment Ahead of the Second Selection of the God
Ahead of the second selection of the God, power realignments and Nine-consuming wars are intensifying. On the Kaltheon 5 server, the 'God is Gun' alliance—previously considered a variable—joined forces with the existing power-holding 'Da-nae-kkeo' alliance. Combined with Ji-ho-hyung reaching level 60 and investing 900 million Nine, the server's power balance has shifted completely. The birth of such a large alliance has demoralized competing factions and acted as a catalyst for other servers to reorganize their battle lines and heighten vigilance to protect their own divine power.
Following 'Cas-wang' of Lindel 3, who holds the top spot for total consumption and poured in Nine equivalent to a single-server budget, major factions like 'Kompu' of Kaltheon 1 and 'Lens TV' of Lindel 2 have spent billions of Nine to fend off pursuers. While challenger factions like 'Bulldog' of Kaltheon 3 are launching fierce counterattacks, existing power-holding factions in most servers are solidifying their positions with massive resources, continuing the battle surrounding the second selection of the God.
