Creative Assembly announced today (the 21st) via its official social media and YouTube channels that it will host a live broadcast for the next installment in the Total War series, 'Total War: Warhammer 40K.'
Total War: Warhammer 40K is an RTS based on the Warhammer 40K universe, first unveiled at The Game Awards in December 2025. Building on the experience of developing the Warhammer Fantasy trilogy, Creative Assembly has strengthened its partnership with Games Workshop to bring the galactic battles of Warhammer 40K to life in a new way.
Following the developer roundtable on December 16, which revealed the characteristics of the Space Marines, Astra Militarum, Orks, and Aeldari, this live broadcast will focus on ranged combat. Developers will provide a live demonstration of actual gameplay to explain the mechanics of ranged combat to users.
Meanwhile, Total War: Warhammer 40K was featured at Bilibili World, a major Chinese subculture event held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from July 10 to 12. While the event primarily featured activities like capsule draws, it also marked the first public screening of combat footage between the Astra Militarum and the Orcs via on-site monitors. Additionally, Christian Topker, the production lead for the Total War franchise, appeared on the main stage in Hall 5 alongside the Chinese voice actors to meet with local fans. The team also announced plans to participate in Gamescom 2026, which will be held in Cologne starting August 24, signaling that a full rollout of game information is expected this summer.
The Total War: Warhammer 40K live stream will be broadcast on the official YouTube channel on the 23rd at 11:30 PM KST. Further details regarding Total War: Warhammer 40K can be found on the official social media and YouTube channels.
