H2 Interactive (CEO Heo Jun-ha) announced on the 16th that it has released the physical package for the PS5 version of 'Against the Storm,' a dark fantasy city builder developed by Eremite Games and Hooded Horse.

'Against the Storm' is a roguelite city builder where players must rebuild civilization amidst the relentless 'Blightstorm.' As the Queen's Viceroy, the Player leads various species—including humans, beavers, lizards, harpies, and foxes—to establish new settlements.

The core objective is to complete self-sufficient settlements before the Blightstorm strikes. Players must devise survival strategies while managing limited resources and harsh environments, all while keeping the Queen's impatience in check as the settlement grows. Balancing the needs of diverse species with efficient production systems and strategic expansion is essential for survival.

A key strategic feature is the flexible time control system. Players can pause or resume the game at any time and adjust the game speed as needed. When paused, all villager actions and statistical changes stop, allowing players ample time to inspect town layouts and plan their strategies. Even when changing the game speed, the cycles for villager movement, labor, eating, and resting adjust proportionally, ensuring the game balance remains unaffected.
