Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea (General Manager Jang Tae-geun) released the Korean version of 'Digimon Story Time Stranger' for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on July 9. To mark the launch, the company also unveiled a live-action launch trailer.

'Digimon Story Time Stranger' is a RPG where players track the secrets of a world on the brink of collapse, traveling between the human world and an alternate dimension while collecting and raising over 450 Digimon. Set in Tokyo, Japan, the story follows the protagonist—an agent of a secret organization—who encounters the mysterious creatures known as 'Digimon.' After being caught in a mysterious explosion, the protagonist is transported eight years into the past and tasked with preventing the impending collapse of the world.

The game features adventures spanning the human world and the alternate dimension 'Digital World Illias,' turn-based battles centered on team composition, and the ability to raise over 450 Digimon, the largest number in the series to date.

A free demo that allows players to experience the beginning of the main game is currently available on all platforms, including Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. Save data from this demo can be transferred to the full version. Clearing the demo unlocks the 'Central Town Adventure Demo,' which allows players to explore areas and certain dungeons in Digital World Illias, though this specific data cannot be transferred to the full version.

The paid DLC 'Additional Digimon & Episode Pack ①~③' will be released sequentially over the three weeks following the game's launch. A 'Season Pass' that bundles all three packs is also available for purchase, featuring content that allows players to explore a world created by the space-time-warping 'Parallelmon.

The Steam version was previously released on October 3, 2025, while the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions were released on October 2, 2025.
