Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-kyu) announced on the 9th that it has updated its character-collecting AFK mobile RPG, 'The King of Fighters AFK' (developed by Netmarble Neo), to include the new Legend Seasonal Fighter, 'Mai Shiranui (Aqua Splash).'

The new Legend Seasonal Fighter, 'Mai Shiranui (Aqua Splash),' joins the roster with this update. Featuring a special summer-themed style, she showcases flashy combat using a large fan and exudes captivating charm. She possesses the [Rush] synergy and can be obtained through a pick-up event running until July 22. A pick-up event for other [Rush] synergy fighters will also be held during the same period.

Additionally, a new minigame, 'Kensou's Dumpling Delivery,' will be available from July 20 to July 28. Players can enjoy this swing-action minigame, where they deliver dumplings while riding a rope, and earn various daily rewards.

Summer season events will also follow sequentially. The 'Lucky Elpy' event (July 13–17) will feature the Legend Supporter 'Lenny Creston,' while the 'Splashy Vacation' event (July 16–29) will introduce the Legend Pets 'Umine' and 'Bellybear.' Furthermore, the 'Hot Summer! Attendance' event, running from July 16 to August 19, offers various rewards, including an Origin and DNA 5-Selection Chest, as well as a Pick-up Legend Fighter Selection Ticket that includes many of the latest fighters
