SEGA Publishing Korea (CEO Ko Saito) announced the launch of the 'Sonic Racing Crossworld World Championship 2026,' the first global tournament for the currently available title 'Sonic Racing Crossworld.' The official event, 'Legend Tournament Round 6,' which also serves as the in-game qualifier for the global championship, begins on Tuesday, June 30.

The World Championship 2026 is an esports event where 24 top-tier players from around the globe will compete for the title of world champion in the final stage. Finalists who reach the Top 24 in the World Ranking during the qualifying event starting June 30 will be invited to the World Championship Finals, held in New York, USA, in October 2026.

During the qualifying period, participants will receive a participation reward—a limited-edition sticker—just by racing at least once, along with various other rewards based on the grade achieved. The qualifying event runs until 8:59 AM (KST) on Monday, July 20. 'Legend Tournament Round 6' is open to all players, not just those with a Legend rank.

Invitations to the World Championship Finals are reserved for players who have completed the 'Online Participation Application' on the official tournament website. Detailed information, including tournament rules, participation methods, and precautions, can be found on the official website.

Players can earn rewards by increasing their rating to reach specific grades or by entering the rankings.

Participation rewards for racing at least once include three stickers ('SONIC ART' and 'World Championship 2026 Logo' in white and black), the 'Round 6 Bronze Racer' title, and 400 Donpa Tickets.

Grade rewards are granted upon reaching specific ratings. Reaching Silver Grade (1550 rating) awards the 'Round 6 Silver Racer' title and 600 Donpa Tickets; Gold Grade (1650) awards 'Round 6 Gold Racer' and 800 tickets; Platinum Grade (1750) awards 'Round 6 Platinum Racer' and 1k tickets; and Emerald Grade (1850) awards 'Round 6 Emerald Racer' and 1k tickets.

Ranking rewards are distributed based on final results after the event concludes. Players who reach the Top 100 in the World Ranking will receive the 'TOP 100' title, while those who reach the Top 10 will receive the 'TOP 10' title.

Titles are earned upon reaching each grade, while Donpa Tickets are distributed based on the final grade achieved after the round ends. Ranking rewards and participation sticker rewards are distributed after the event concludes based on final ranking results.

Please note that Festa Reward Gadgets released after June 2026 (e.g., Spin Dash Kit) cannot be used in the World Championship qualifiers or finals. A player's starting grade for this event is determined by their grade at the end of the previous 'Round 5,' and the final grade of this round will carry over as the starting grade for the next 'Round 7.' All dates and times are subject to change.
