SEGA Publishing Korea (CEO Saito Go) announced that it has released detailed information on the character 'Rise Kujikawa' and her skills for Atlus' upcoming RPG, 'Persona 4 Revival,' scheduled for release on Thursday, February 18, 2027.
Rise Kujikawa (CV: Rie Kugimiya) is a high school freshman and a rapidly rising idol. Known for her vibrant and charming personality, she is affectionately nicknamed 'Rise-chi' and lives with her grandmother, who runs a tofu shop in Yasoinaba. Her dedicated Persona is 'Himiko.'
In battle, Rise does not engage in direct attacks; instead, she participates by providing support from the rear. Her specialty, 'Support Skills,' can trigger various effects with a certain probability, such as identifying enemy resistances and affinities or nullifying incoming damage.

Key support skills include 'Analyze Open,' which randomly reveals enemy elemental affinities at the start of battle; 'Psycho Pop,' which inflicts random status ailments on all enemies at the start of battle; and 'Safe Guard,' which has a chance to nullify attacks received by the player. Support skills can be acquired not only through leveling up but also by increasing your Community Rank through interactions with Rise.
The 'Persona' series celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, following the release of its first title, 'Revelations: Persona.' It is a juvenile RPG series set in modern-day Japan that depicts everyday life, including school, friendship, and romance, while simultaneously pitting characters against occult events like rumors and ghost stories. The story follows boys and girls who awaken to the power of 'Persona'—a manifestation of their inner 'other self' in the form of gods or demons—as they grow while facing numerous challenges.
The series is characterized by its weighty scenarios that focus on the realistic struggles and growth of its characters, stylish visuals, a snappy user interface designed for convenience, and its acclaimed 'P-Sound' music, which has frequently appeared on international music charts.
'Persona 4' was originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2008. Unlike its predecessor, 'Persona 3,' which was set in a city, 'Persona 4' takes place in a modest rural town. It was well-received by players for its pop-inspired, bright atmosphere and its central theme of 'confronting one's inner self.'
In 2012, 'Persona 4 Golden,' featuring additional content, was released for the PlayStation Vita. Since then, the series has expanded through various spin-offs, including fighting and rhythm games, as well as crossovers with 'Persona 3' and 'Persona 5,' alongside a wide range of media adaptations such as TV anime, live concerts, and manga.
