WEMADE (CEO Park Kwan-ho) published its 'WEMADE Sustainability Report 2025' today (the 29th), detailing the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance and key initiatives for the year.
WEMADE has been publishing an annual sustainability report since 2023 to transparently share its ESG management strategy and mid-to-long-term implementation plans with the public, and to strengthen communication with various stakeholders. This year's report focuses on highlighting the company's ESG achievements and demonstrating the integration of its business operations with its ESG strategy.
According to the report, WEMADE has refined its 'double materiality assessment'—which considers both financial and socio-environmental impacts—and adopted 'service quality management' as a new priority, as it is directly linked to the core value of a gaming and blockchain company. Through this, the company aims to ensure service stability, protect user rights and interests, and foster a fair and safe gaming environment.
In the Environmental (E) sector, the company introduced climate scenario analysis to manage risks. Specifically, it analyzed the financial impact of climate change based on international standard scenarios to establish a response system, while also presenting mid-to-long-term goals leading up to 2050.
In the Social (S) sector, WEMADE conducted a human rights impact assessment and immediately implemented the identified improvements, thereby elevating its company-wide human rights management standards. Furthermore, to ensure employees can work in a stable and self-directed manner, the company introduced a flexible working system and conducted employee satisfaction surveys to strengthen a healthy and inclusive work environment.
In the Governance (G) sector, the company regularized board performance evaluations to monitor operations and enhance effectiveness and transparency. Additionally, it upgraded its internal control standards by conducting anti-corruption and compliance risk assessments based on the 'Anti-Bribery Management System (ISO 37001)' standard. The company also took the lead in solidifying transparent ethical management by making ethics training mandatory for all employees.
A WEMADE representative stated, "This 2025 Sustainability Report contains the results of internalizing ESG across our core gaming and blockchain ecosystems, going beyond mere declarative ESG. We will continue to identify and implement specialized ESG tasks linked to our gaming and blockchain businesses to fulfill our role as a responsible global company."
The WEMADE Sustainability Report 2025 is available on the WEMADE Official website.
