SNK Corporation has announced that 'Kenshiro' from the anime 'Fist of the North Star' is now available as a Season 2 DLC character for the fighting game 'FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves' (FATAL FURY: CotW). The company also confirmed that Season 3 will begin in July 2026.

The collaboration between Fist of the North Star and FATAL FURY: CotW was first announced at 'AnimeJapan 2026,' the world's largest animation event, held in March 2026. As the final DLC character for Season Pass 2, Kenshiro utilizes the 'Hokuto Shinken' style, delivering fast, heavy strikes and striking pressure points to alter an opponent's state and extend combos. He is a fighter who combines high-level technique with immense destructive power, characterized by a tense battle style where split-second decisions and distance management determine the outcome

It is a characteristic feature.

Along with the new character, Kenshiro's story has been added to the 'EOST Mode' and 'Arcade Mode.' In EOST Mode, the story follows Kenshiro as he awakens in South Town and joins Terry and Mai to investigate and resolve an ominous presence looming over the city. In Arcade Mode, the narrative depicts Kenshiro entering the KOF tournament to confront Krauser, who rules over South Town.

Meanwhile, to celebrate the new collaboration character and the upcoming start of Season 3 in July, a Mid-Year Sale is currently underway, offering a 40% discount on 'FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Legend Edition.' Further details are available on each platform.
