NEOWIZ announced on the 29th that its online FPS (First-Person Shooter) game 'A.V.A' has released an update to mark its 19th anniversary. Alongside the update, a special event offering various benefits will run until August 24.

Since its launch in 2007, A.V.A has remained a leading long-running online FPS game in Korea. Despite the rapidly changing gaming market, it has maintained a loyal player base thanks to its robust combat system and class-based strategic team play. NEOWIZ prepared this update and special event to express gratitude to the players who have enjoyed A.V.A over the years and to provide a more diverse gameplay experience.

First, the June update features a renewal of the annihilation map 'Anaconda.' 'Anaconda Core' offers more diverse engagement routes than the original map, designed to allow for strategic flanking and entry maneuvers. The map is available in Quick Match Annihilation and AI Annihilation modes.

Additionally, the demolition mode map rotation has been updated, and two new SR Mechanic Boosters have been released. A special sniper-exclusive weapon, the 'Sniping Healing Pistol,' is now available in the capsule shop. New items tradable on the Black Market and new transmogrification items have also been introduced.

The 19th-anniversary promotional event, 'A.V.A 19th ANNIVERSARY: SUMMER FESTA,' will run from July 1 to August 24. The event also unveiled the image of a new character set to be released in the July update. In the flagship '19th Anniversary Take Your Gun' event, players can collect event resources called 'Ice Cream' by playing for 19 minutes daily, which can be used to acquire two permanent items of their choice.

The 'A.V.A MARBLE' event is also underway. Depending on the number of completions, players can earn various rewards, including the in-game currency 'Euro,' as well as 19th-anniversary commemorative firearms.

Furthermore, players who have logged into A.V.A over the past 18 months will receive a '19th Anniversary Choice Box.' Other generous benefits include 19th-anniversary GM blessings, discount coupons, and 19th-anniversary firearm capsule draws.
