The final day of the 'PUBG Nations Cup (PNC) 2026' Grand Finals kicked off on the 28th at Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The honor of the final victory went to Brazil. Although they were eliminated early in three separate games that day, their massive point lead from the previous two days allowed them to successfully maintain their top position. South Korea mounted a fierce pursuit, closing the gap to within striking distance of Brazil, but ultimately finished as the runner-up, falling just 5 points short.
The first game of the third day, Match 11, took place on Erangel. With the zone shifting toward Military Base, the leading Brazilian team saw their vehicle get stuck on a cliff while rotating, leading to their total elimination without scoring any points. South Korea, struggling to find an entry, managed to secure a position by utilizing a crater in the Red Zone. As Finland faced off against them, Turkey and Thailand intervened, turning the situation into a chaotic skirmish. South Korea took advantage of the confusion to eliminate Thailand, finishing the match with 3 kills and a 6th-place result. Denmark secured the win, with the final zone shifting in their favor.
Match 12 was held on Miramar. Brazil suffered heavy losses after a head-on collision with Thailand during a rotation, adding only 4 points to their total. South Korea needed to push out Indonesia from an adjacent building to enter the circle; while they won the engagement, they lost two players in the process. They were eventually wiped out by grenades from a neutral team that had tracked them by sound, earning only 6 additional points. Argentina, the only team to maintain a full squad, secured a 16-kill win, leapfrogging South Korea to jump into second place overall.
The battlefield for Match 13 was Taego. South Korea secured a position at the Shipyard and cleanly dispatched a tough Vietnam squad to reach the Top 3. However, the firepower of their next opponent, Brazil, proved too strong. To make matters worse, South Korea was hit by a well-placed grenade from China, ultimately finishing in 3rd place. In the final engagement, China, holding the high ground, secured the win without incident. Brazil finished 2nd, adding 12 kills to firmly maintain their lead with 122 points. South Korea reclaimed 2nd place, but the gap with Brazil widened to 21 points.
Match 14 took place on Rondo. Faced with a desperate situation where they had to break through China's defense on the edge of the zone, South Korea unleashed their full potential. 'Header' knocked out two players with a grenade, and the team pushed in during the opening, wiping out China without losing a single player. South Korea then eliminated the Philippines, racking up 8 kills in an instant. Although they eventually fell to Vietnam, who had held a building and maintained their strength relatively easily, South Korea recorded 11 kills and a 2nd-place finish, closing the gap with leader Brazil to just 6 points.
The final 15th match on Erangel would decide everything. A golden opportunity arrived for South Korea: the 1st-place Brazilian team lost half their squad while rotating into the circle and was eliminated without adding any points. Argentina, who had been hot on South Korea's heels, was also eliminated early, and China suffered irreparable losses to their squad. However, the path into the safe zone proved too treacherous, and after falling to Thailand, South Korea was unable to surpass Brazil's total of 124 points.
