Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is set to premiere this fall. Alongside the announcement, the names and images of the new crew members leading the series have been revealed.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, an animated series currently in production by CD Projekt Red and animation studio Trigger, has unveiled information about the new crew members who will drive the story via its official X account. Each of the four characters was introduced in individual posts, featuring an illustration, their name, and a descriptive sentence highlighting their personality.

The first character revealed is Weak Kingsley. His introduction reads, "The weight of the crown is heavy. The weight of the chrome is heavier." He is depicted with short blonde hair, a beard, and tinted glasses. The next character, D, was introduced with the phrase, "No signal, no survival." D has dark blue hair and a large red scar across their face.

Next is Roman Carax, who appears as a young boy. With blonde hair and green eyes, this character is shown sitting in the front, holding a camcorder. Roman Carax’s introduction reads, "Witness to every request, every fall, and every legend."

Roman Carax was previously seen standing in the center of various characters in the first trailer for Edgerunners 2, released in July 2025, and was the focus of a solo zoom-in in the final scene, where his green eyes and camcorder were clearly visible.

The final crew member revealed is Talia Yang. This character has long, pink hair braided into a single strand and wears a mask. Her introduction reads, "From the corporate skyscrapers to the chrome-forged gutters."

A sequel to the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Edgerunners 2 will feature an entirely new story and cast of characters. The series is directed by Kai Ikarashi, with Ichigo Kanno handling character design and original art. Hugo Award winner Bartosz Sztybor, who led the story for the original Edgerunners, returns alongside Masahiko Otsuka, with Yuichiro Tozawa serving as director of photography.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 presents a standalone story set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Across 10 episodes, the series chronicles a vivid tale of redemption and revenge. According to the released synopsis, the new installment will explore the question of 'how far one must go to be heard in a city blinded by the glamour that thrives under the spotlight of violence.'

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 will be released exclusively on Netflix in the fall of 2026.
