On the 25th, Kakao Games launched the official teaser page and video for 'World of Dokkaebi,' a new MMORPG currently under development by Supercat.

The teaser video begins with an intro inspired by traditional Korean 'Munjado' (folk painting of characters), revealing the game's title and world-building. Subsequent scenes introduce the game world by showing characters enjoying a festival, highlighting a direction that departs from traditional 3D medieval-style MMORPGs.

The accompanying key visual depicts a festival scene where various characters and mythical beings gather around a massive sacred tree, illustrating not just combat content, but a world where characters live together.

'World of Dokkaebi' is a K-fantasy Mobile MMORPG that allows players to grow their Character freely without rigid class restrictions and combine various Skills. It features 2.5D hybrid graphics that combine 2D pixel-art characters with 3D backgrounds, a skill deck-building system, and clan-based cooperative content.

The game is slated for release in the third quarter of this year, with pre-registration beginning in July. Kakao Games plans to reveal key content and service details through an online showcase in August and will share further updates sequentially leading up to the launch.
