On the Lineage Classic Christer server, there is a player famous since the days of the original Lineage and the Remaster era for their 'Master's tenacity.' Known for exclusively playing the Master class, they go by the name 'Taesan-gunju' (Master Taesan).

In this first Siege War, the Seopseop Alliance led by Master Taesan successfully captured two castles. From a laid-back guy who constantly says 'Uhh' and 'Hehe' on his streams to a powerful lord commanding the server, let’s hear the story of his journey as he walks the path of a 'Master' once again in Lineage Classic.

■ Hello. Could you please briefly introduce yourself and your Clan.

Taesan-Gunju: I’m Taesan-Gunju, a YouTuber who loves Lineage and has been playing the Master class for 28 years. When Lineage Classic opened, I told my subscribers, 'This is truly the last Lineage. Let’s give it our all together!' Many users gathered, and we formed a Clan to play together.

■ You are a 'Master' in every sense of the word. Could you tell us about your current alliance structure and how you believe you achieved such synergy during the Siege War.

We are centered around our Guild master, 'Bongja,' with various members in command positions. We are joined by the Yeongam, Kingka, Jenny, and Gentle Clans, who have stood by us through thick and thin. I am truly grateful for the incredible unity they showed during this Siege War.

■ You successfully captured two main castles, Kent and Windwood. Did you have a specific strategy in mind?

From the moment I heard that the Siege War would begin simultaneously for the three castles of Kent, Windwood, and Orc Fortress, my goal was to target Kent and Windwood for the first siege.

We used deception tactics, such as mimicking marks, while trying to predict the enemy's moves. The flow of the battle went largely as we expected—anticipating where the opponent would strike first and when they might pivot to the Orc Fortress—which ultimately led to us securing both castles.

■ You have insisted on playing only the Master class for a long time. What made you so passionate about this specific class?

While most people prefer playing Knights, Elves, or Mages, it is true that the Master class is weaker in direct combat. However, I believe the highlight of Lineage is the Siege War. I fell in love with the charm of sieges, and that is why I always find playing the Master class so enjoyable.

■ Do you think your long-term dedication to the Master class influenced the results of this Siege War?

It is true that having a high-level Master helps in a Siege War. However, the unity of the Clan members is the most important factor.

■ Lastly, please share your resolve for the next Siege War.

Winning the next Siege War would be great, but it would be even better if we could all just enjoy the game together for a long time. And to NC!
