To celebrate the second anniversary of the mobile action game 'Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures,' developed by Devsisters' studio OvenGames, a massive update has been released. The update introduces a wealth of new content for fresh combat experiences alongside system improvements to enhance player convenience.

The update introduces the game's first 'Mystic' attribute, which offers unique versatility. By encompassing both light and dark powers, this attribute allows players to enter both Mystic dungeons as well as dungeons belonging to either of the two base elements.

The first Cookie to feature this attribute is the Legendary Moonlight Cookie. As a mysterious being who has inherited the magical secrets of the City of Wizards, she serves as a Magic-type Supporter in Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures, providing various auxiliary effects.

Her basic attack fires 'Starlight Wish' projectiles, while her hold attack creates a dreamscape that pulls in and damages enemies within range. Fully charging the hold attack damages enemies, inflicts a sleep effect, and allows her to enter a deep slumber to recover her own HP. Additionally, her special skill, 'Dazzling Moonlight,' attacks enemies while providing a 'Moon Halo' shield to nearby allies.

Furthermore, her ultimate skill, 'Song of Moon and Stars,' attacks enemies and creates a 'Moonlight Hospitality' zone that reduces enemy Defense. By landing basic attacks to charge her gauge, she can trigger a second ultimate skill, entering the 'Dawn' state. In this state, her Crit chance increases and her basic attacks are empowered by the gauge; once the gauge is fully depleted, she deals massive damage and the 'Dawn' state ends.

In Adventure Mode, a new special chapter titled 'Dream Train Sailing the Night Sky' has been added alongside the main chapters. The story begins as Melancholy Cookie, escaping from a deep rift, is drawn by a mysterious voice and awakens in the dream world in the form of a pure, young child.

The journey through the dream world unfolds with familiar faces: Moonlight Cookie, who seeks to put the nightmares flowing into the dream world to rest; Milky Way Cookie, the conductor of the Dream Train who helps transport Melancholy Cookie to the 'Cradle of Stars' at Moonlight Cookie's request; and Stardust Cookie, who helps ensure Melancholy Cookie does not go berserk at the station.

New monsters also appear in this special chapter. Players can put enemies to sleep by entering the 'Music Box Zone' or by filling a gauge through the elimination of monsters within it.

The update features new mechanics and combat environments, including: #1 'Singing Dream Cat,' which grants shields to nearby monsters; #2 'Floating Dream Mobile,' which summons nightmare monsters from the air; #3 'Fierce Nightmare Sheep,' which fires meteors or charges at Cookies; #4 'Giant Nightmare Lamp,' which uses explosive area-of-effect and laser attacks; and #5 the new boss, 'Lord Nightmare, Wrath of Abandoned Stars.'

Various events are also underway to celebrate the 2nd anniversary: #6 'Room Decoration Event,' where players use points earned through gameplay to customize spaces; #7 'Escort Operation Event,' where players defeat monsters to help the Dream Express reach its destination; #8 'Prophecy of End and Origin,' where players can guarantee the acquisition of 'Wind-Paragus Cookie' or 'Melancholy Cookie' through missions; and #9 a new marble-shooter-style minigame at the Banchuk Games Test Center.

Additionally, user satisfaction has been boosted with the introduction of the 'Settlement Guide,' which provides optimal growth paths for each Cookie to help new and returning users, and the 'Twilight Library,' where players can enjoy new Cookie stories, learn combat mechanics, and earn various growth resources.
