Sol: Enchantment applied an update during the temporary maintenance on Monday, June 22, aimed at easing early-game progression. Following the temporary maintenance on the 19th (Fri), this patch introduces further adjustments, including reduced monster damage and increased item drop rates, which should make character growth significantly smoother.
Reduced Monster Damage
First, the damage dealt by monsters has been lowered. While exact figures were not disclosed, our checks after the update suggest that monster damage in the level 35 Orc Settlement and level 37 Lutein Ruins hunting grounds has been reduced by nearly half. Previously, players often needed to purchase Health Potions from shops to hunt effectively; now, it is possible to play smoothly even with the infinite potion.
A shift in user behavior has also been detected following this patch. Many characters who previously focused their hunting in the Dungeon of Despair and Medena Forest are beginning to move to higher-level hunting grounds. Before this, aside from the 1st floor of the Hero's Sanctuary, the level 35 Orc Settlement and level 37 Lutein Ruins were relatively empty, but the number of players hunting there has surged since the patch.
Main quest progression has also become easier due to the adjusted monster damage. As the trend of players moving to higher-level hunting grounds is likely to continue, we recommend quickly completing any pending main quests and then focusing on growth in hunting grounds appropriate for your level.

Reduced Death Penalties and Item Loss Rates
The cost to recover penalties upon character death has also been reduced. EXP recovery costs have been slashed to 20% of their previous levels, and item recovery costs have been halved. This applies equally to recoveries using Diamonds and those using Nine. Additionally, the probability of losing an item upon death by a monster has been reduced by 20%, from 70% to 50%. This eases the heavy burden of recovery costs that followed free recoveries.
Along with this, the maximum number of items lost based on alignment grade upon death by a monster has been adjusted. Previously, players could lose up to 5 items at Destruction stages 7–9 and up to 4 items at stages 4–6; these have now been changed to a maximum of 3. Destruction stages 1–3 have been adjusted to 2 items, and those with no alignment (Protection stage 6) will lose 1 item.
As recovery costs have been lowered, Inheritors who previously performed recoveries using Nine or EXP have been retroactively compensated for the difference. Rewards can be claimed via mail until 23:59 on Thursday, the 25th.

Guild Re-join Cooldown Reduced to 4 Hours
The cooldown for re-joining a guild after leaving or being kicked has been reduced from 24 hours to 4 hours. Since the benefits of guild membership are significant in the early game, this change allows players to minimize growth gaps by quickly finding and joining a new guild, even if they have to leave their current one due to unavoidable circumstances.
There have been cases where players were kicked from top-tier guilds for being away due to accidental over-competition or slow growth. If you were unfairly kicked, you can now quickly find a new guild to receive benefits and minimize any loss in progress.

Nine Shop Adds Protection Potion, Alignment-Related Changes
There are also adjustments related to alignment. Combat with members of a guild registered as hostile will no longer reduce your alignment. With the reduced burden of becoming 'Chaotic' (alignment drop), players are likely to engage more actively. Additionally, the Nine Shop has begun selling Protection Potions, which grant 10k alignment, for 100k Nine each. These potions were previously only available in the Mileage Shop.
The daily purchase limit for the Nine Seal Chest, which is gaining word-of-mouth as an item that offers a slim chance at a 'one hit' jackpot of Nine, has been increased from 10 to 30. If you purchase these chests and successfully enhance the Seal to +5, you can exchange it for a massive 24.3 million Nine in the Nine Exchange menu. Of course, the success rate for +5 enhancement is confirmed at 0.243%, so keep your expectations in check.
Meanwhile, the gathering system is temporarily unavailable due to maintenance. This is a temporary measure taken to minimize damage to the ecosystem caused by the abuse of illegal programs, and a separate notice will be provided regarding any future changes.
