In the final match of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 2, held at LoL PARK in Jongno on the 31st, Dplus KIA secured a 2-0 victory over Nongshim RedForce, ending their season on a high note. The match was highlighted by the stellar performance of damage dealers 'ShowMaker' Heo Su and 'Smash' Shin Geum-jae.

In Game 1, 'ShowMaker' Heo Su's Viktor hard-carried the team. Over the course of nearly 30 minutes, he racked up 14 kills and dealt approximately 45k damage. After securing early kills and assists through skirmishes, Viktor continued to accumulate kills during the teamfight phase, growing rapidly. Nongshim RedForce simply could not handle the firepower of the accelerated Viktor. Although Viktor was caught first in the final teamfight, 'Smash' Shin Geum-jae's Jhin fired off a pentakill to seal the victory.

In Game 2, Nongshim RedForce held lane priority in the top and mid lanes, widening the CS gap, but a disaster struck in the bottom lane. In a pure 2v2 engagement, 'Smash's' Lucian picked up a double kill. 'Sponge' Bae Young-jun's Pantheon, who was taking the Dragon, was forced to retreat, and the first Dragon went to Dplus KIA. With the momentum on their side, Dplus KIA unilaterally accumulated advantages and snowballed the game. Within 15 minutes, the gold gap between the AD carries exceeded 2000.

Cornered, Nongshim RedForce opted for a 'group up' strategy. They swarmed the top lane, taking down 'Siwoo' Jeon Si-woo's Sion, followed by 'Lucid's' Skarner and 'ShowMaker's' Anivia. However, Lucian's power remained unchecked, and Dplus KIA maintained control. Nongshim RedForce chose to attempt a Baron burst instead of conceding the third Dragon, but Dplus KIA arrived quickly to defend and wiped the team. Dplus KIA then marched straight into the enemy base and destroyed the Nexus in one final push.
