Perfect World Games held a special broadcast today (the 23rd) ahead of the Version 1.1 update for 'Ihwan,' an urban fantasy open-world RPG developed by its subsidiary developer, Hota Studio. During the broadcast, key developers introduced the update details for Version 1.1 and future improvements.
In this Version 1.1 update, a new area called 'Haeoreum Island' will be added. Located off the coast of Hetero City, this area captures the scenery of a beach and a fishing village, and is expected to evoke an atmosphere distinct from Hetero City, featuring walking paths lined with blooming sunflowers, a cruise port, and quiet country roads. On the other hand, beyond the location, you will face other formidable enemies in the 'corridor'. The previously released PV highlighted a scene where Hotori is drinking at Takori and a neighboring customer mentions that a child has been drastically different since suddenly going missing and returning, hinting at another incident the appraiser will face. Next, the version 1.1 pickup characters, Lacrimosa and Chaos, were introduced. 'Lacrimosa' is a character familiar to users through the version 1.0 tutorial and the Tomato Demon sub-story; she is a Dark-attribute Liquid Arc character. 'Chaos' from E.T.D Team 6 was introduced as the next pickup. In particular, the hound can be utilized as a teleport point, allowing for a quick return to that location. During combat, 'Sin' stacks accumulate whenever a skill is used, and these can be consumed to trigger a derivative attack that inflicts significant damage on enemies. Upon activating the Ultimate, 'Permission to Pursue' is applied to the target, further amplifying damage, and this effect lasts for a certain period of time. The Lacrimosa Pickup runs from June 3rd until the maintenance on June 24th, and the Chaos Pickup runs from the maintenance on June 24th until the maintenance on July 8th.
