Following 'Azur Promilia,' Nexon has confirmed it will publish another Chinese-developed subculture RPG, 'Higan: Eruthyll,' in the domestic market.
Nexon held its Q1 2026 earnings call today (the 14th). The presentation covered the status of the company's major titles and its upcoming new game lineup, as well as its publishing portfolio.
In the subculture game publishing segment, while much of the focus was on 'Azur Promilia'—which is scheduled for a closed beta test (CBT) on the 15th—another subculture title, 'Higan: Eruthyll,' was also introduced in the presentation materials. Developed by Bilibili, 'Higan: Eruthyll' is a full 3D subculture RPG that follows characters fighting against a disaster eroding dreams on the planet Eruthyll, a world where dreams and illusions intertwine. A key feature is its use of a back-view camera rather than the traditional quarter-view for its real-time team combat, allowing for a more vivid presentation of the full 3D characters in action.
'Higan: Eruthyll' had a soft launch in select regions including Canada, Malaysia, and Singapore in 2023, and began expanding its service footprint in earnest last March with a closed beta test and pre-registration in Japan. With today's (the 14th) announcement by Nexon, the game is now set to be released in Korea.
