'The Ultimate Weapon' Lee Young-ho has advanced to the finals after defeating Lee Jae-ho 4-0.
In the Google Play ASL Season 21 semifinals held at the FreecUp Studio in Daechi-dong, Seoul, on the 12th, the match between Lee Young-ho and Lee Jae-ho ended in an overwhelming victory for Lee, defying expectations of a close contest. Lee stated that he has regained over 90% of his former form and expressed his determination for the upcoming finals against Park Sang-hyun.
Below is the full interview with Lee Young-ho following his advancement to the finals.

Q. How do you feel about advancing to the finals after a 4-0 win over Lee Jae-ho?
I'm happy to reach the finals for the first time in six years. I expected a tough match, so I'm pleased it was easier than anticipated. I feel like my performance has improved significantly.
Q. If you had to summarize today's series, it would be 'overwhelming optimization.' It seems you focused heavily on that aspect?
I aimed to take control of the early game with aggressive pokes and gain an advantage in the late game with builds like 'greedy' double expansions, and it worked well. I tried to push my optimization practice to the limit. Also, in Terran vs. Terran matchups, you usually need to scout early, but I delayed it as much as possible, and that worked out well.
Q. In Game 1, your play on Attitude was perfect, from the 5-Vulture timing attack to the 4-Factory Goliath transition.
Attitude is the map with the shortest distance between bases. I initially planned to defend against a counter-attack, and everything went exactly as I had envisioned.
Q. Now you face 'Jjapze' Park Sang-hyun in the finals.
I have memories of losing to Zerg players in big matches. I need to reflect on those past experiences and prepare well. There are about two weeks left, and I plan to take a break and not play any games for about a week.
Q. How do you rate your final opponent, Park Sang-hyun?
If I win, I expect a 4-2 or 4-3 score. He is a tricky player with great optimization. However, I believe I have shown better form when the game goes into the late stages.
Q. This is your first final in a very long time. Any final words?
I'm very excited for an outdoor final after six years. If many fans come to watch, I will repay them with a great performance.
