Global game developer Lightcore Games announced a major update for its retro pixel idle mobile RPG, 'Song of the Misongja: Dot Idle RPG.' The update enhances character collection and deepens combat content with the addition of the new SSR hero 'Immortal Light Gullveig,' limited-edition costumes, and seasonal events.

The centerpiece of this update is the new SSR hero, Immortal Light Gullveig. A mage from the Light faction, Gullveig was once called the source of calamity by the gods but was ultimately recorded as the 'Immortal Light.' She is defined as a symbol of immortality who rises from the flames and an observer who chronicles the flow of the world.

As a dealer specialized in control and debuffs, she possesses both powerful crowd control and high survivability. Both her basic attacks and skills deal fixed damage proportional to the enemy's maximum HP, allowing her to bypass defensive effects and pressure key targets. She also effectively dominates the battlefield with a debuff that continuously reduces the firepower of the enemy with the highest attack power.

Furthermore, her unique skill 'Transformation' allows her to restrict enemy actions, and she features a special mechanism that revives her in a unicorn form upon her first death, allowing her to continue the fight. This makes her highly strategic. Gullveig can be obtained during the limited-time 'Celestial Festival' event, with permanent acquisition methods to be added in future updates.

Limited-edition costumes for Gullveig, 'Abyssal Dwelling' and 'Rising Music,' have also been revealed. 'Abyssal Dwelling' is a special costume earned by promoting Gullveig to Tier 15 during the event, featuring a design that emphasizes a mysterious atmosphere. 'Rising Music' captures her image as a recorder of the battlefield and a master of the stage, utilizing vibrant stage direction and intense colors.

Three additional new costumes have been added. 'Neon Pulse' Hodr showcases a different charm with a sensory stage atmosphere under neon lights, while 'Scorpio God' Meb highlights a seductive yet sharp aura. 'Aquarius God' Solo emphasizes a mysterious presence through a sacred atmosphere and dreamlike presentation, further expanding the personality of each hero.

The limited-time 'Celestial Festival' event will run until May 7. Set in a sanctuary above the clouds, this seasonal event offers various mini-content and abundant rewards. Players participating in the 'Festival Attendance Event' can earn 8 shards of the new SSR hero 'Gullveig' after 14 days of cumulative attendance.

Additionally, the 'Vow of Eternal Light' limited summon event provides a chance to obtain the SSR hero Gullveig directly. Through various mini-events, users can acquire not only the new hero but also various resources necessary for growth.

A wide array of new content has also been added. This includes 'Skyland Journey,' a board-game-style mode where players roll dice to explore the clouds; 'Trial of the End,' a high-difficulty, stage-based combat mode; 'Wish Puzzle,' where completing puzzles grants a rare costume selection box; and 'Kitty Playground,' a mini-game where players control a Valkyrie to avoid obstacles. Users can earn diverse rewards such as growth materials, limited avatars, and rare costumes, providing a richer gameplay experience.
