KRAFTON's new game mode, 'Xeno Point,' was revealed to be the result of a collaboration with Polish developer People Can Fly.

Founded in 2002, People Can Fly is a global AAA game developer listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. In March 2023, KRAFTON participated in the studio's Series F equity offering, acquiring a 10% stake to become its second-largest shareholder.

Alongside that investment, KRAFTON secured priority publishing rights for People Can Fly's upcoming titles, 'Project Victoria' and 'Project Bifrost.' The joint development of 'Xeno Point' demonstrates that the partnership has evolved beyond simple publishing, with both companies now sharing core IP and generating development synergies.

People Can Fly is the studio behind titles such as 'Painkiller,' 'Bulletstorm,' and 'Gears of War: Judgment.' In this joint project, they leveraged their extensive Unreal Engine expertise to lead creative direction and content implementation based on the existing 'PUBG' engine.

'Xeno Point,' initially known as 'Project Echo,' combines the game's tactical foundation with roguelike elements. Set on a 'Miramar' map bizarrely transformed by an alien force, players are deployed in squads to survive against unpredictable enemies and a corrupted environment.

Joanna Strzelecka-Tazbir, Project Lead at People Can Fly, remarked, "Creating an event for a game with such a passionate fandom was an exciting challenge." Creative Director Valerian Nogin added, "The process of adding new environments and abilities while maintaining the core elements was a fantastic experience."
