Devsisters (CEO Cho Gil-hyun) welcomed the first weekend of “CookieRun at Lotte World Aquarium: Sea Adventure Exhibition,” which officially opened on March 27th in collaboration with Lotte World Aquarium.
Bringing CookieRun’s charming, warm-hearted sensibility into the aquarium, the exhibition reimagines the Dragon Palace from Korean folklore and has drawn in family visitors in large numbers. From the entrance, where a 2-metre-tall giant air balloon of Brave Cookie greets guests, to the expansive venue spanning Basement Levels 1 and 2, visitors can follow the story of the Cookies as they search for a legendary treasure across nine zones decorated with a variety of Cookies and marine creatures.
Upon entering the aquarium, guests are met with: ▲ “Fragrant Lotus Paradise,” an otter tank where Sugar Swan Cookie shares the legend of the treasure ▲ “The Dreaming Mermaid’s Sea,” a passageway blending lighting and coral graphics ▲ and “Capybara Tank,” where visitors first encounter Brave Cookie. Next to the capybara tank, the ▲ colouring experience zone also drew enthusiastic participation from young visitors, who took part in a programme where they could create their own sea-themed Cookie.
Moving down to Basement Level 2, visitors encounter ▲ the main tank, “The Mysterious Entrance to the Dragon Palace” ▲ Candy Apple Cookie’s “Shining Jellyfish Garden” ▲ “Secret Wave Passage,” where visitors can take photos using Cookie cutter-shaped frames ▲ and the polar zone, “Treasure Vault Inside the Dragon Palace,” where a golden key has been hidden.
In particular, the aquarium’s signature main tank became a crowded photo spot, as its living ecosystem of countless marine creatures blended with CookieRun artwork to create a memorable backdrop for commemorative pictures.
The special appearance of Cookie characters on site over the weekend also proved hugely popular. Large crowds gathered to catch a glimpse of Brave Cookie and Sea Fairy Cookie as they appeared in greeting events at the aquarium entrance, roaming performances across Basement Levels 1 and 2, and photo time sessions held at the main tank.

Participation was also lively in the hands-on “AR Stamp Tour” content. Designed as a mini-game in which visitors scan AR markers throughout the themed zones to complete missions and find hidden stamps, the activity was well received for offering a distinctive way to enjoy the aquarium through a blend of online and offline experiences. One elementary school student visiting the venue shared, “I usually play CookieRun: Kingdom, so I brought my Pure Vanilla Cookie plush from home and came to the aquarium with my friends. It was so much fun because I got to greet Sea Fairy Cookie in person, find AR stamps, and receive in-game aquarium items and game coupons.”

Interest in the limited-edition goods was also intense. The “Random Keycap Keyring,” which was unveiled exclusively in advance at the Aqua Shop, proved so popular that the initial prepared stock sold out entirely within just three days of opening. Along with the restocking of that product, a new additional aquarium collaboration item, the “Random Metal Badge,” is scheduled to be revealed in early April.
“CookieRun at Lotte World Aquarium: Sea Adventure Exhibition” will run through June 7th. More detailed information can be found on Brave Cookie’s Instagram and the Lotte World Aquarium Instagram.
