T1 mid laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok added another historic milestone to his decorated career, becoming the first player in League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) history to record 700 career victories. The achievement came Thursday, Aug. 14, in the 2025 Summer Split Round 4, Week 2 at LoL Park in Seoul, where T1 swept kt Rolster 2–0 in a long-standing telecom rivalry. Faker, who debuted in 2013, now holds 703 career wins across 1,054 matches, with a win rate of roughly 66.7%.
Faker stated that each milestone reminds him of the length of his career and expressed gratitude for the support he has received. The next closest active player, Hanwha Life Esports jungler Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, trails by nearly 170 wins. Earlier this year, Faker also became the first player to reach 1,000 total LCK matches played.

2025 LCK Round 4, Week 2 Recap
The week also saw other veteran players achieve major milestones. Peanut became the first jungler — and only the fourth player overall — to reach 800 matches played. Dplus KIA’s Heo “ShowMaker” Su recorded his 400th career win, while Hanwha Life’s Park “Viper” Do-hyeon and BNK FearX support Kim “Kellin” Hyeong-gyu each logged 500 matches. Dplus KIA support Cho “BeryL” Geon-hee became just the second support to secure 500 career kills, joining T1’s Ryu “Keria” Min-seok.

In team standings, the Legend Group playoff race appears nearly settled, but Nongshim RedForce’s continued slump has left their postseason hopes fading. In the Rise Group, OKSavingsBank BRION’s upset over Dplus KIA tightened the race for third place, with DRX on a late surge to challenge for a play-in spot.

The LCK, Korea’s top professional league, runs April through September under a new single-season format. With four weeks left, the playoff picture is taking shape ahead of Round 5, where international qualification hopes will be decided.
