In Round 4 of the 2025 LCK, Hanwha Life Esports swept KT Rolster 2–0. After the match, bot laner Park "Viper" Do-hyeon joined the media to reflect on the win, the Player of the Match (POM) recognition, and where he believes the team needs to go from here. He said he intends to rebuild his confidence by stringing together victories.
On the day’s result and his POM nod, Viper conveyed that receiving the award felt good and that he was relieved to come away with another win. He added that the squad will prepare thoroughly for the remaining fixtures.
Asked what made the back-and-forth series against KT so tricky, he noted that KT jungler Moon "Cuzz" Woo-chan repeatedly came bottom early and was clearly focused on bot-side priority, which made him approach lane with a simple mandate: don’t give up deaths.
On the first appearance of Yunara and facing Deokdam’s Aphelios, Viper said his game plan was straightforward—whenever Aphelios lacked Flash, he wanted to punish decisively. He admitted the team didn’t execute those windows as cleanly as he had hoped but, based on what he saw, judged it to be a perfectly serviceable pick. From a team perspective, he credited Han "Peanut" Wang-ho and Yoo "Delight" Hwan-joong with assertive shotcalling, saying the lineup moved in lockstep with their calls and reaped the benefits.
Regarding the comeback after an early deficit in Game 2, Viper explained that KT’s draft would struggle to keep Kai’Sa down; as long as he scaled properly, he believed the game would tilt in their favor. Looking back on recent form, he candidly acknowledged that the team had shown shaky performances, suffered from communication issues, and made too many in-game mistakes. The short-term goal, he said, is to reduce errors step by step while leaning into what the team historically does well to restore their level.
With a 500-game LCK milestone on the horizon, Viper said he hadn’t realized he was already approaching that figure and offered thanks to fans for enabling such a long run. As for what’s next, he stressed that standings matter—and that in the upcoming match against T1, after a listless loss last time out, the team is determined to show something different and secure the win.
