Konami Digital Entertainment Limited has released EDENS ZERO, a spacefaring action role-playing game inspired by Hiro Mashima’s manga and anime series, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. The title invites players to join protagonist Shiki Granbell—an orphan raised among robots—on his quest to locate the fabled goddess known as Mother, traversing the Sakura Cosmos alongside companions Rebecca and the catlike Happy.
Gameplay unfolds in real time, combining Ether Gear abilities with dynamic planetary exploration. Combat and traversal mechanics draw directly from Mashima’s vibrant world, offering a blend of aerial dogfights, close-quarters clashes and puzzle-like challenges that reward creative use of each character’s unique skill set.

To mark the launch, EDENS ZERO integrates content from Mashima’s Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest, bringing together players’ favorite wizards in a crossover adventure. In the new playable mission titled Tale of the Mysterious Organization, members of Fairy Tail—including fire-wielding Natsu, celestial spirit mage Lucy and the returning Happy—join forces with Shiki and crew. Completing this mission grants players Natsu’s combat gear for male characters and Lucy’s attire for female characters, expanding customization options.
Both physical and standard digital editions offer a Day One bonus package featuring the Pino hunter outfit, while platform-exclusive accessories include Elsy’s pirate flag on PlayStation 5, the Demon King’s banner on Xbox Series X|S and a pair of dragon wings for Steam users. A deluxe digital edition adds a triple DLC pack comprising male and female gear sets, the Lacrima equipment bundle and a starter item assortment. Early purchase or pre-order is required to redeem these extras.

EDENS ZERO aims to appeal to longtime Mashima fans and newcomers drawn to its blend of interstellar action and narrative depth.
