VALOFE (CEO Shin Jae-myung) announced on the 13rd that it has finalized the official launch timeline for 'Kritika 2 (tentative title) Mobile,' the official sequel to its action RPG IP 'Kritika,' and has entered the advanced development phase with a target for official service in early 2027.
'Kritika 2' is a project that has been under continuous research and development through a dedicated development line. Moving beyond a simple sequel concept, the company is systematically executing a concrete development process to bring the title to market. Through this, VALOFE plans to elevate its development competitiveness and global service capabilities, while proving the success of its new development pipeline.
The new title inherits the world-building of the original Kritika while strengthening the storyline and highlighting the unique charm and personality of each character. The development team aims to add depth to the story—which was previously criticized for being somewhat monotonous—and significantly improve the growth system that often led to user fatigue, ultimately delivering a more refined and advanced gameplay experience.
Alongside 'Last Origin 2,' which was recently announced, VALOFE aims to enhance the value of its IP portfolio and diversify its revenue streams through 'Kritika 2,' for which the service schedule has now been solidified.
The initial service, scheduled for early 2027, will target the domestic market first. By verifying core gameplay, content operations, and user feedback in Korea, the company plans to refine the game's balance before launching a roadmap to expand services into global markets, including North America and Europe.
The company expects the intuitive action and character-based combat experience of the Kritika IP to be highly competitive among global users. In particular, by reflecting the preferences for action RPGs in North America and Europe, VALOFE is currently reviewing content configurations and service strategies tailored to regional user preferences and platform environments.
VALOFE CEO Shin Jae-myung emphasized, "Kritika 2 is a core IP with established recognition among domestic and international users, and we have been meticulously developing it in both Korea and China. We will do our utmost to advance development so that we can provide a stable and high-quality service to users in Korea and China by late 2026 or early 2027, fostering it into a powerful new pillar of the company's growth."
