KONAMI has announced that 'Professional Baseball Spirits 2026,' the latest entry in its flagship baseball simulation series, will launch worldwide on July 16 for PS5 and Steam. The game will also feature Korean language support.

This title is powered by KONAMI's newly developed 'eBaseball Engine,' which aims to deliver more realistic ball trajectories, player animations, crowd reactions, and commentary. Notably, this is the first time the series will support the Korean language.

In terms of content, the '2026 World Baseball Classic' mode stands out. It features star players from around the world, including Shohei Ohtani, Aaron Judge, Ronald Acuña Jr., Juan Soto, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Randy Arozarena, and Lee Jung-hoo. The game also recreates loanDepot park, the home of the Miami Marlins and the site of the actual WBC final. The Japanese national team, which has previously won the WBC, will be included as special content. Additionally, the game reflects the latest 2026 Japanese Professional Baseball rosters, including new draft picks, international signings, and returning players.

The Season mode introduces a new Active Draft system. This allows players to recruit new talent or restructure their rosters after the season ends, adding strategic depth to team management. The high school baseball-themed 'Hakkyu No Kiseki' mode now includes the Designated Hitter (DH) rule, and players can also enjoy features such as Live Scenario, Home Run Derby, Star Player mode, and Team Edit mode.

Pre-orders are currently available via the PlayStation Store and Steam. All pre-order customers will receive a 'Shohei Ohtani' (SAMURAI JAPAN 2026) usage license.
