Netmarble’s Vampire MMORPG Vampir Launches Regular-Season Clan Contest With 150 Million Diamond Prize Pool

Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-kyu) announced that the vampire-themed MMORPG Vampir will hold its regular-season “Contest” event over two days, October 18 and 19.

The Contest consists of three stages: a Preliminary Round to determine the top clan within each server, Qualifiers that match clans across servers to decide which advance to the finals, and the Finals, where the top two clans compete for the ultimate title of strongest clan. The total prize pool amounts to approximately 150 million Diamonds.

Following the successful completion of the Contest’s preseason, this marks the start of its full regular season. As of 6:00 p.m. on October 17, the top three clans by combat power ranking on each server will qualify to participate. The Preliminary Round will take place on October 18, while the Qualifiers and Finals will be held on October 19.

In the Preliminary Round and Qualifiers, clans can earn points by landing the last hit on named monsters or defeating players from rival clans, with overall rankings determined by total points earned. In the Finals, clans gain points periodically by capturing the Altar of Blood and the Grand Altar of Blood, as well as by defeating bosses such as the Forgotten Lord and Abomination.

The winning clan of the Finals not only receives the top prize but also earns special privileges, including the ability to issue a Chat Ban Order, set the Gehenna boss spawn time, and choose the entry location for Gehenna Zone 2. Additionally, winners will be rewarded with the Prophet’s Weapon. The runner-up clan will also receive a share of the prize pool proportional to their contribution, ensuring that all participating clans continue to gain rewards and growth opportunities even in defeat.

Meanwhile, Vampir, released on August 26, is a new MMORPG developed by key members of the team behind Lineage 2: Revolution, a title widely credited with elevating the quality standards of Korean mobile games. Featuring a vampire motif and a dark medieval fantasy world, Vampir is available on both mobile and PC platforms.
