The 'New Route, Pirate Island' event has begun in Lineage Classic. For the next two weeks, players can hunt in a special event hunting ground to earn EXP and items that extend their ATS time.
The event dungeon, Pirate Island, can be accessed via the NPC Shimizu in the center of Heine village. The dungeon is limited to 30 minutes per account daily, with separate instances for regular players and Internet cafe users. The minimum level requirement is 20.
Monsters in the dungeon do not drop Adena or items; instead, they automatically grant 'Island Tokens' to your inventory upon elimination. These tokens can be exchanged for consumables with the NPC Lesta, located next to Shimizu in Heine. A Dwarf's Gear (1 hour) and a Time Fragment: Forsaken Land Charge Stone cost 200 tokens each, while Refreshing Red Potions cost 1 token each.
You can only exchange for one Gear and one Time Fragment per day. As a mid-30s level Knight, I earned just over 200 tokens after a full 30-minute session, so unless you are a high-spec player, it may be difficult to purchase both charge items daily.

As for dungeon tips, the event dungeon difficulty is quite low. It is designed to be accessible for players who have just reached level 20. Monsters are not aggressive, and with the exception of a few like wild boars, they do not recognize their own kind, so you rarely get swarmed.
Their attack power is also low; a level 36 Knight with 60s Defense used only about 10 recovery potions during a 30-minute hunt. Notably, they cast Curse Poison, but the damage is only 1 per tick, so there is no need to use an Antidote.
While monster sizes are not explicitly displayed, historical data from sources like Lineage Remastered suggests a mix of small and large monsters, so using a versatile weapon is advantageous.
Furthermore, while the monsters have high HP, their level is expected to be quite low. Perhaps because of this, weapons with high base damage are more effective than those specialized for Hit. For a level 36 Knight, it took an average of 15–17 hits to kill a monster with a +6 Damascus, compared to 22–24 hits with a +6 Mail Breaker.
In percentage terms, this is a difference in efficiency of nearly 30%. This is likely due to the Hit difference based on monster level and the fact that these monsters are not Undead, meaning the extra damage from Orichalcum does not apply. Therefore, unless your level is very low (early 20s), it is better to use standard weapons with high base damage.
Dungeon EXP efficiency is quite high. As a level 36 Knight with a +6 weapon, I usually gain about 3% EXP per hour in the Forsaken Land with full buffs. In Pirate Island, I gained 2.3% in just 30 minutes. While there are differences in buffs—such as the Growth Cheer buff added after today's maintenance—a comparison of 3% vs. 4.6% shows 50% higher efficiency. I recommend not missing your 30 minutes here every day. The extra hour in the Forsaken Land is just a bonus.
