Team42 (CEO Na Sung-soo) has released a gameplay trailer for its new MMORPG, 'World of Slimes,' alongside its global launch roadmap. The journey begins with a demo version on Steam in August, followed by mobile pre-registration in November, and a simultaneous official launch on PC and mobile in December.
The gameplay trailer highlights elements that define 'World of Slimes' as a MMORPG, including players riding slimes, engaging in life-skill content like fishing, and participating in cooperative battles against large bosses.
Team42 explained that while the content revealed at PlayX4 in May focused on capturing, fusing, and growing slimes, this new trailer showcases the expanded fun of the game through cooperative play between users.
The gameplay footage has captured the attention of international gaming webzines and bloggers. After the video was shared across platforms like Reddit and Twitter, positive feedback regarding its visuals and art style spread through social media, driving traffic to the game's Steam page and official Discord channel. Interest is steadily growing in various regions, including the United States, Brazil, and Indonesia.
Team42 plans to maintain this momentum by continuously sharing the latest news, such as behind-the-scenes development stories and pre-launch game information, through its official channels, including Discord.
A Team42 representative expressed confidence, stating, "We are focusing on capturing the core fun of the monster-taming genre, which lies in cooperating with friends. We are working hard to ensure this game becomes a place where users can create enjoyable memories."
