Epic Games Korea announced on the 23rd that pre-registration has opened for UNREAL FEST Seoul 2026, which will be held on August 20 and 21 at the Harmony Ballroom and Atlas Hall of the Westin Seoul Parnas in Gangnam District, Seoul.
UNREAL FEST is Epic Games' flagship annual event. First launched in Korea in 2010, it introduces developers to the latest technologies in Unreal Engine and the Epic ecosystem, while sharing innovative real-time 3D interactive production experiences across various industries.
This year's event will feature over 40 sessions covering diverse fields, including gaming, media and entertainment, and manufacturing and simulation, starting with a keynote by CEO Tim Sweeney. Some sessions will also be broadcast online. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest technologies and use cases across the entire Epic ecosystem, including Unreal Engine 5.8, Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), MetaHuman, and Epic Online Services.
Participants can also gain practical insights into interactive 3D content production through various real-world project examples, such as real-time rendering, animation, virtual production, digital twins, and AI-based production workflows.
The event will also feature hands-on programs showcasing Epic Games' latest technologies, which have consistently drawn high interest from attendees each year, allowing for a vivid look at the potential of Unreal Engine and the Epic ecosystem. Notably, this year's event introduces a new indie game showcase, offering a chance to experience firsthand how Unreal Engine is being used in indie game development.
Those wishing to attend UNREAL FEST Seoul 2026 can register via the Epic Lounge website. Early bird tickets are available at a 50% discount until July 13. All attendees will also receive limited-edition event merchandise.
