StoneAge Idle Adventure Launches Worldwide March 3, Netmarble Announces New Mobile Idle RPG

Netmarble announced Wednesday that its upcoming mobile title StoneAge Idle Adventure will launch worldwide on March 3, marking the latest revival of the long-running StoneAge franchise.

Developed by Netmarble N2, the idle RPG builds on a property that the publisher says has attracted more than 200 million players globally since its debut. The new game reimagines core mechanics from earlier entries — including pet capturing and mounting — while introducing systems designed for modern mobile audiences.

Originally released in 1999, the StoneAge series gained popularity for its accessible gameplay centered on collecting, raising and battling pets, many of which were dinosaur-inspired creatures. The franchise became known as a steady seller in multiple regions, blending role-playing elements with social features.

In StoneAge Idle Adventure, players assemble strategic decks featuring up to six Trainers and 18 Pets, allowing a total of 24 units to participate simultaneously in combat. Netmarble said the system emphasizes progression, competitive play and cooperative activities.

Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, today announced that its upcoming mobile idle RPG StoneAge Idle Adventure will officially launch worldwide on March 3.

Several pets from the original StoneAge titles will return, including Mogaros, Veldor and Yangidon. According to the publisher, the creatures retain their defining characteristics while appearing in an updated visual style aimed at mobile platforms.

The game will feature a mix of competitive and cooperative modes. Among them are “Advent Battle,” a large-scale raid involving multiple pets; “Sky Tower,” a ranking-based competition; “Aquafarm,” a real-time resource-focused mode; and “Mecha Pet Hunt,” a cooperative event centered on repelling invasions.

Ahead of launch, global pre-registration is underway through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Players who register before release will receive the mount pet “Kaki,” along with additional rewards bundled in a Clan Welcome Pouch containing in-game currencies.

Netmarble has continued expanding its portfolio of mobile and cross-platform games in recent years, supported by both original properties and licensed franchises. The company’s recent releases include titles across RPG, action and idle genres.
