Ubisoft launched the MMOTPS 'The Division Resurgence' on Steam on the 6th.

'The Division Resurgence' is a mobile MMOTPS based on Ubisoft's flagship IP, 'The Division.' Set in the period between 'The Division' and 'The Division 2,' it features an entirely new, standalone story and campaign. Players take on the role of a Division agent during the 'Green Poison' outbreak in New York, experiencing firsthand the chaos as institutions meant to maintain order collapse and opportunistic factions rise. Players can work alone or team up with up to three other agents to protect civilians, stop hostile factions, and restore stability to the city.

Released on mobile on March 31, 'The Division Resurgence' offers a RPG progression system through various specializations, along with diverse customization elements such as signature weapons and unique equipment. It has appealed to fans by including a control system optimized for mobile environments and the series' signature 'Dark Zone' content. Meanwhile, to accommodate users who find TPS shooting controls difficult on mobile, Ubisoft expanded its user base by launching an early access PC version via the Ubisoft Connect app on April 29. With its release on Steam on the 6th, the mobile-PC cross-platform environment has been further expanded.
