WEMADE subsidiary THISMEANSWAR has unveiled the Steam store page for its upcoming PC first-person shooter Black Vultures: Prey of Greed. The announcement marks a major step toward the title’s global debut, showcasing high-stakes survival gameplay and tactical combat underpinned by fast-paced action and strategic depth.

Set in a fractured warzone six years after the collapse of continental command structures, Black Vultures places players in the boots of a disbanded special operations unit. Missions unfold across lawless territories scarred by ruined infrastructure and contested zones, where the Life Ticket System limits respawns and a team-based looting mechanic rewards coordinated squad play. A specialized mode called Cargo Rush introduces three-faction standoffs that emphasize psychological warfare amid realistic firearms and extensive weapon customization powered by Unreal Engine 5.

THISMEANSWAR plans to conduct a global playtest in July to refine combat balance, controls and overall gameplay flow. Details on test dates and sign-up procedures will appear on the Steam page, following analysis of feedback gathered during an April domestic Focus Group Test. The development team has signaled a commitment to iterate on core mechanics based on community insights before the title’s full release.

In parallel with game development, THISMEANSWAR is collaborating with NVIDIA on Viper, an AI-driven combat analysis device leveraging NVIDIA ACE voice and dialogue technology. Viper integrates tactical cameras, headsets and drones to deliver real-time battlefield data, including enemy positions, threat assessments and optimal movement routes. NVIDIA and THISMEANSWAR intend to showcase Viper after the conclusion of the July playtest.
