Konami Press Start Showcase Unveils Fox Hunt Multiplayer for Metal Gear Solid Δ and Details on Silent Hill f

Konami Digital Entertainment used its inaugural Press Start Publisher Broadcast on Tuesday to offer an early look at forthcoming entries in its flagship franchises and other upcoming releases. The event centered on two high-profile titles, while also previewing a variety of games from sports simulations to classic revivals.

In a feature segment on “Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater,” the developer revealed a new online multiplayer suite called Fox Hunt. Viewers saw concept art and early gameplay footage illustrating Fox Hunt’s pursuit-and-evade mechanics, along with additional competitive modes dubbed Snake vs. Monkey and Snake vs. Bomberman. The title is set to launch August 28, with pre-orders available now.

Silent Hill fans received fresh insight into “Silent Hill f,” scheduled for release September 25. The segment highlighted the 1960s Japan setting, Japanese folklore influences and contributions from writer Ryukishi07 and composer Akira Yamaoka. Pre-orders opened immediately following the broadcast. A brief teaser also offered a first glimpse at the Silent Hill remake project, confirming it remains in active development.

Beyond its major franchise updates, Konami showcased an array of titles in a Publisher Showcase segment. Sports-themed releases included the soccer simulator “eFootball,” the baseball game “MLB Pro Spirit” and the “Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game” adaptation. Indie-style projects such as “Deliver At All Costs,” “Darwin’s Paradox!” and “Survival Kids” were spotlighted alongside retro revivals “Gradius Origins” and a mobile and PC launch of “Suikoden Star-Leap,” which became available on Steam, iOS and Android concurrent with the broadcast.

To coincide with the stream, Konami activated a sale on selected titles in its Steam publisher store, notably discounting “Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1” by 50 percent ahead of this fall’s releases. The full Konami Press Start Publisher Broadcast remains available for viewing on the company’s YouTube channel.
