The most cost-effective way to obtain these is through the World Tree Battle Stone Package, which can be purchased 8 times per month. If buying from the permanent shop, purchasing two 11-count bundles is appropriate; if you want extra Battle Stones, the 44-count bundle offers better value.

Weekend mass acquisition returns for all servers except Kent and Oren. For items requiring 3 Battle Stones per attempt—Guardian Stones (150/250), Pure Elixir (250/400), Quality Powder of Blessing (100k/150k), Blessed Holy Water (Large) (100/150), and Dragon's Diamond (10k/Rare 3k)—you must overcome a 1% total success rate (0.9% success + 0.1% great success). For the Pattern Reset Scroll (40/60), which requires 10 Battle Stones per attempt, you must overcome a 10% total success rate (9% success + 1% great success), theoretically requiring 100 Battle Stones. Currently, it is cheaper to purchase 100 Battle Stones by combining two 44-count bundles + one 11-count bundle + one single unit (total 7320 diamonds), or by purchasing two 30-count monthly packages + one 44-count bundle (total 7k diamonds).

In Legacy World, you can also craft 100 Totem Enhancement Stone Selection Chests (Bound). At 3 Battle Stones per attempt and a 1% success rate, this theoretically requires 300 Battle Stones. Unlike other items, Totem Enhancement Stones do not have a 'great success' outcome.
