BNK FEARX lost 0:2 to kt Rolster in the first round of the 2026 LCK regular season, held at LoL PARK in Jongno on the 24th. While they managed to build momentum for a comeback in both sets, they ultimately collapsed before they could seal the deal.

The following is the full transcript of the press conference with BNK FEARX head coach Park Jun-seok and player 'Raptor' Jeon Eo-jin.

Q. Could you provide a summary of today's match.

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = I'm very disappointed with our early-game performance in both sets. Even so, there were many moments in the mid-game where we could have won by picking off opponents or leading through macro. It's a shame we couldn't stay calmer during the Baron teamfight in Game 1. I think we could have won Game 2 as well if we had executed our pick-offs better. It’s a frustrating day in many ways.

'Raptor': The game spiraled out of control early on, but I think we did what we could in the mid-game. It would have been much better if we had played like that from the start.

Q. What was your biggest concern during the pick-ban phase against the undefeated KT?

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = We spent a lot of time thinking about their jungle and mid picks. We built our pick-ban strategy around that, and I think the draft itself went as intended today.

Q. 'Daystar' Yoo Ji-myeong seemed to struggle, including giving up a solo kill. Are you considering a substitution with 'VicLa' Lee Dae-kwang?

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = These were matchups we practiced well, but perhaps because he was facing 'Bdd' Kwak Bo-seong, he didn't perform as well as expected. I think nerves played a part. In reality, I believe he is much better than what he showed today. Since both players are options, we will need to keep discussing who to start for the mid lane in our next match against T1.

Q. Your next match is against T1 at the Inspire Arena. What needs to be improved to secure a win?

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = Looking at today's game, I think our mid-to-late game calls and macro were fine. Ultimately, the key is to play a tighter early laning phase. If we can handle the early game well, I think we can definitely compete with T1.

Q. Are you worried that the one-sided crowd at Inspire Arena might put pressure on the players?

Head Coach Park Jun-seok = I've had similar experiences in Hong Kong and Brazil before. Having experienced situations where the fans were cheering more for the opposing team, I think the players will already be mentally prepared. I believe if we focus on the fundamentals we are good at, we will get a good result.

'Raptor': I think playing in a larger arena with more spectators will help us gain experience and will actually be fun. We will prepare even harder.
