BNK FEARX secured a 2-0 victory against Kiwoom DRX in the first round of the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season, held at LoL PARK in Jongno on the 17th. After the match, head coach Park Jun-seok expressed his satisfaction, stating, "In the first set, we gained an early advantage due to a significant gap in the top lane matchup, and in the second set, we were able to win thanks to a sharp jungle gank in the bottom lane."
The following is the full interview with Head Coach Park Jun-seok and 'Daystar' Yu Ji-myeong.

Q. Could you provide a summary of today's match.
Head Coach Park Jun-seok= In Game 1, 'Clear' Song Hyeon-min secured several solo kills, which created a massive gap in the top lane and gave us a significant advantage. With a successful gank in the bottom lane as well, the momentum was firmly in our favor early on. Game 2 was a close contest, but we were able to win because 'Raptor' Jeon Eo-jin successfully executed a level 3 gank in the bottom lane, which allowed us to snowball the lead.
'Daystar' Yu Ji-myeong= Unlike our previous match, our communication was much better. We were able to execute our plans cleanly, which is why we were able to win.
Q. The team has been struggling recently, which must have been a source of concern. What went particularly well today?
Head Coach Park Jun-seok= Since this is a team game, I believe things only go well when the calls are synchronized. Today, our calls were well-aligned, which made it very easy for everyone to perform their roles. Thanks to that, we were able to manage the game effectively even in unfavorable situations and secure the win.
Q. What was the secret to your dominant performance in Game 1?
Head Coach Park Jun-seok= In Game 1, we felt K'Sante was a strong pick against Jayce. It wasn't necessarily a matchup that should have snowballed that hard, but the opponent made a mistake, which allowed us to snowball significantly. It was also effective that we delayed the enemy jungler Vi's tempo by clearing her jungle camps before she could reach level 6
Q. How is the team atmosphere right now?
Head Coach Park Jun-seok= The team atmosphere has actually been improving steadily since our loss to Brion. There weren't any major issues; we just needed some time to resolve some in-game conflicts. Our performance in recent scrims has been improving, and we are seeing good results, so I am feeling positive.
Q. (To 'Daystar' Yu Ji-myeong) How does it feel to play on the LCK stage?
'Daystar' Yu Ji-myeong= It’s a stage everyone wants to stand on, so I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Now that I’ve actually played, it was much more fun than I had worried it would be, and my satisfaction with being a professional gamer has only increased.
Q. How do you plan to prepare for your next opponent, kt Rolster?
Head Coach Park Jun-seok= I think KT is a strong team with a lot of momentum, but our team's momentum is also on the rise. We will prepare well and make sure to beat a strong team like them.
'Daystar' Yu Ji-myeong= KT is currently 5-0, and 'Bdd' Kwak Bo-seong is playing exceptionally well, which seems to be driving their momentum. My first-ever LCK match was against Bdd, so if I meet him again in the next game, I will make sure to win this time.
Q. Any final words for the fans.
Head Coach Park Jun-seok= Thank you for watching today's match. This 2-0 victory is very valuable, and I will work hard to ensure we keep this positive momentum going.
'Daystar' Yu Ji-myeong= I’m glad we won cleanly so I can greet our fans with a smile. Thank you for always supporting us.
