SEGA Publishing Korea announced that the free 'Red (Angry Birds series)' update for 'Sonic Racing Crossworld' is available starting today, April 16. The update adds the racer 'Red' and his signature vehicle, the 'Super Roaster,' to the game, along with three tracks from the 'Angry Birds' series added to the jukebox.

The three new tracks are 'GO! Theme,' 'GO! Theme [for Final Lap],' and 'Angry Birds Theme.' While 'GO! Theme' and 'GO! Theme [for Final Lap]' can be set as BGM for races via the jukebox, the 'Angry Birds Theme' is not available for use as race BGM.

The 'Angry Birds Festa' collaboration event will run for a limited time from 9:00 AM on Friday, April 17, to 8:59 AM on Monday, April 20. The event divides players into three teams, with scores tallied based on online race rankings. Each Festa features unique special rules, such as competing for the number of 'Touch Dashes' performed. By collecting Festa points during the event, players can earn exclusive items for vehicle customization, such as stickers and horns.

Meanwhile, the demo version has also been updated to include the new 'Extreme Gear' vehicle. The demo allows players to preview the 'Grand Prix' and 'Time Trial' modes, as well as customize vehicles and gadgets. Save data from the demo will carry over to the full version upon purchase.

The demo is available for free download on PS5, Nintendo Switch, XSX|S, Steam, and Epic Games platforms, though the demo update applies to all platforms except for the Nintendo Switch.
