With the Lair of the Fire Dragon update just a week away, anticipation for the new hunting ground and its monsters is building daily. While the Heine update left some players disappointed and the Lair of the Fire Dragon was not exactly the most popular hunting ground in the original Lineage, others are looking forward to new loot opportunities, such as the addition of crafting materials for the Sword of Ssaulabi and Dragon Scale Armor, including Asitazio Ash.

So, what kind of new monsters can we expect to encounter when the Lair of the Fire Dragon arrives? Let's take a look at the monsters and the field as they appeared in the original Lineage Episode 10 update.

= Bomb Flower

A stationary monster that fires seed projectiles from a distance. With low level and HP, it is easily defeated in melee combat

= Dragon Fly

A bizarre-looking, large dragonfly-type monster that uses its mandibles and abdominal hooks for melee attacks. It was a popular target for its drops, including Blessed Scrolls, Armor Enchant Scrolls, and Weapon Enchant Scrolls

= Burning Warrior / Archer

The warrior uses melee physical attacks, while the archer fires flaming arrows from a distance. While not particularly difficult, their high attack power means the archer's arrows can be a threat to players with weaker gear

= Lava Golem

A golem-type monster that uses attacks similar to the Stone Golem. Note that in the original Lineage, it does not have a weapon damage property

= Salamander

A fire lizard-type monster that drops gems

= Asitazio

The star of the Lair of the Fire Dragon. It drops Asitazio Ash, a material for the Sword of Ssaulabi, and is the primary reason the Lair of the Fire Dragon became a contested zone

= Horn Cerberus

A monster that uses fire attacks at both melee and ranged distances. It is the primary reason why fire resistance is essential

= Others

Other additions include the 'Fire Egg,' a lottery-style monster that is low-level but can drop Blessed Weapon/Armor Enchant Scrolls, and the field boss, Phoenix
