Mintrocket’s hit adventure-RPG hybrid Dave the Diver is now available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, the studio confirmed Thursday during the Xbox Partner Showcase. The surprise release brings the fan-favorite deep-sea exploration title to the last of the major console platforms, alongside new footage of its next major expansion, Into the Jungle, set to arrive in early 2026.

The Xbox version launches with support for Xbox Play Anywhere and includes access to all previously released DLC, such as the Dredge content pack, the Godzilla crossover, and the Ichiban’s Holiday collaboration with the Yakuza series. Each pack adds new missions, encounters, or mechanics to the game’s mix of underwater exploration and restaurant management.

Mintrocket also confirmed that physical retail editions will arrive in 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2, published in partnership with Silver Lining Interactive. Those editions will include the full Into the Jungle expansion.

First Look at Into the Jungle

The newly revealed footage offers the first extended look at Into the Jungle, the game’s largest expansion to date. The DLC introduces a new land-based jungle biome, freshwater diving zones, additional characters, missions, and ingredients for Dave’s late-night sushi service. The expansion brings familiar cast members—Bancho, Cobra, Dr. Bacon—alongside new allies native to the jungle setting.

Players will explore a mysterious island lake, take on new mini-games, and uncover additional storylines when the DLC launches next year.

Originally debuting in Steam Early Access in 2022 and releasing fully in 2023, Dave the Diver quickly gained a global following for its blend of pixel-styled exploration, roguelike diving, and restaurant management. The game has since expanded across multiple platforms, including PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and now Xbox.

Mintrocket says the Xbox launch marks a major milestone for the studio. “We’re thrilled to welcome Xbox players into the adventure,” said director Jaeho Hwang in the announcement.
